PSY 475: Join Fulbright award winner Laura Johnson on this summer course where you will partner with Roots and Shoots, an organization created by Jane Goodall, to learn about youth and community building in Tanzania. Camp near the Ngorogoro Crater, take a biking safari, participate in community service, learn about eco-tourism, and make some Tanzanian friends.
Requirements: Minimum 2.5 GPA, good academic and disciplinary standing at UM, and instructor approval.
Application deadline is March 5, 2014.
Price includes: Tuition, UM Study Abroad fee, housing, some meals, program-sponsored excursions, and international health insurance.
