This summer, we will travel to Tanzania and Zanzibar with a rare chance to work in the field with Laura Johnson, associate professor of psychology, as we complete a NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC grant called Faces of the Mountain: Community Action for Forest Conservation around Mt. Kilimanjaro.
You will participate in classic bush and beach safaris, make real friendships with Tanzanian youth, explore the Indian Ocean, see lions and elephants, and take in the sweet smells of the Spice Island of Zanzibar.
